Hans Holbein the Younger(1497/8- 1543) is regarded as one of the greatest artists of sixteenth-century Europe. Best Known as a portraitist, his English subjects included Henry VIII and his family, as well as the poets, merchants, statesmen and servants of the Tudor court.
